SSS TUTORING PROGRAMS

What is SSS tutoring and how do I get matched with a tutor?

Picture
Tutoring Programs through Student Support Services work to support SSS participants who could use additional support in their academic courses. Students who request tutoring will schedule a tutoring intake meeting with our Academic Coordinator, Chris Carter to understand specific needs and match you with a tutor who can help you understand content, prepare for exams and assignments, and help you achieve your academic goals.

Student Support Services may be unable to match all tutoring requests that are submitted due to budget limitations. However, Siena Heights has many resources in place for your success and SSS will make sure you are connected to the right resource.

SHU services include:
Math Cave - located on the ground floor of the Science Building
For more information and a list of tutors, please visit the Math Cave

Writing Center - located on the main floor of the Library
